How can you make your Monday look awesome when you suffer from work blues just at the thought of it? See that is the whole point of it. Just as how the fresh year fills us with much energy of new goals, objectives and dreams, Mondays can perk us up if we just look at them that way.
Make a list: For the heck of it, make a To-Do list of the week. Include some tiny fun tasks such – coffee with a colleague or talk a walk on Wednesday. This habit will get you in the groove of life with a positive energy. There’s nothing like facing a week with a purpose.
Hydrate: Make hydration goals on Monday. You could think of cutting a few coffee cups and replacing them with coconut water or orange juice. Tip the peon in your office or leave a message at a nearby juice center to ensure you have a supply of fresh juices every week.
Dartboard: Make sure you try the dartboard, the carom board or the chessboard at least once a week. Monday could be the beginning of it. These fun targets will keep you in good moods and take care of you when you are not in your best mental state.
Plan a prank: Plan a harmless, humourous prank on a colleague on a Monday. Keep it to only those who could be your prankmates. Just make sure it is not insulting or work-detrimental on your colleague. This will steer you for the week.
Plan the weekend: This may sound strange but start planning your weekend from Monday onwards. If you went to the pub last weekend, make a different plan for the next one. Involve friends and colleagues for ideas to do on the weekend. This little plan will keep you motivated to work harder through the week.
